The Berkshire Medicolegal Service is based at the Berkshire Independent Hospital, hence we have immediate access to the most up to date diagnostic imaging techniques. We work closely with leading radiologists for accurate and efficient diagnosis.

World Class Trauma Surgeon
Edward Tayton qualified in 2002. He is a fully UK trained Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon. He has worked in major trauma centres and currently provides trauma cover locally at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. In addition he has undertaken an international fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand, as well as a further UK based fellowship in Bournemouth.
He is the only Consultant Surgeon in Reading who is actively involved in Trauma Surgery and provides a Medicolegal Reporting Service.

Research for infection in Knee Replacement presented at American Academy.
March, 2016
Edward Tayton presented his leading research at the American Academy in Florida, identifying risk factors for infection in knee replacement. The paper was highlighted as one of the most important of the meeting.
